Day Two: Saturday

Lets keep the pace slow

 

Head back over to Opua on the car ferry and take a mini road trip to Kerikeri for the day. The Old Packhouse Market is the place to be on a Saturday morning, enjoy browsing the arts, crafts, trinkets, deli, food stalls and local produce. You are guaranteed to find a locally made delicacy to eat for lunch! On your journey back to Russell, make sure to stop in Paihia and take some time to unwind and relax at La Spa Naturale. Whether it’s a deep tissue massage or a facial, you are sure to leave feeling like a new person. Once you’ve arrived back in Russell, walk back into the town and enter the tropical-feeling oasis that is Hone’s Garden. The fabulous pizza coupled with the great atmosphere always makes for a lovely evening!

Day Three: Sunday

Make the most of Russell

For your last day in the Bay, wake up and take a walk on the beautiful Long Beach. Followed by breakfast from Butterfish Cafe & Bar on the waterfront! Head along to the Revive Day Spa to create confidence in your body, then head to the Pompallier Mission and Printer and take the fantastic guided tour of the picture-perfect gardens and old printing press and tannery, it’s one of the most interesting historical spots in the Bay! To finish your getaway, head to the Duke of Marlborough and enjoy sunset drinks with unmatched waterfront views.
